road trippin'

alright, so its time for one of my crazy ideas to pop out. i can't even begin to count the number of times i've been asked various questions about my future plans, when i will be graduating, and just what i plan to be doing next. its got me thinking, well its something i've been thinking about for quite a while actually. and trust me, there's a list. this is one idea that might turn out:

the road trip: west coast style

completely random, but i really want to see and experience vancouver and all of its adventuresome big city-ness. plus its just a beautiful city right on the coast, with mountains extremely close by. how much better could it get? so i'm thinking it would be a great idea to fly to vancouver and hang out for a while, experience its greatness and then rent a car. with that car i would find a quality tent and start road trippin' down the west coast. traveling all the way from canada to baja california, stopping wherever I please, while setting up the tent most nights with the occasional hostel, cheap hotel, and perhaps a couple splurges. how fun, right? exactly. i'm thinking it would be the perfect post graduation kick-off to whatever is next on the list (after my triathlon in may of course - still working on the list...). not too time consuming, but an unforgettable experience.

yep, i think this one's a keeper.

travel buddies are welcome, but will be subject to completing the application process. complainers need not apply.

twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. so throw off the bowlines. sail away from the safe harbor. catch the trade winds in your sails. explore. dream. discover.

above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. and let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. for as members of one body you are called to live in peace. and always be thankful.
