date night

after a long day of volleyball, i opted for the low-key, sweats-sportin', movie-rentin', homestyle cookin' evening. i decided to finally make the chili i had been planning all week before the ingredients went bad, and what better way to complement homemade chili than with a great movie. after a look at the redbox options, i decided i had reached that monumental point in my life...

i needed a blockbuster card.

yes, it is true. i have been at college for almost a full four years now and have never sported the blue card. i mean with how redbox has revolutionized the movie rental business, who needs one, right? wrong. honestly, up until recently discovering that some people don't actually like some of the oddball movies i enjoy (the random documentaries or "special interest" films), i've been content with just mooching off of friends' memberships or frequenting those fancy movie-spittin' robots. it was only as i began to suggest the likes of American Shopper or 10 mph: Seattle to Boston that i hit my road block...

so i did it.

and i put it to great use. reviews to come.

twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. so throw off the bowlines. sail away from the safe harbor. catch the trade winds in your sails. explore. dream. discover.

above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. and let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. for as members of one body you are called to live in peace. and always be thankful.
